Kings of Leon Rock the ?Today? Show

Braving the chilly weather, the Kings of Leon gave a fabulous performance on the ?Today? show this morning (November 24).

Matthew, Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill all gathered at Rockefeller Center to give their fans a special outdoor concert treat.

The band explained to Matt Lauer why they decided to record their new album Come Around Sundown in New York City versus their usual Nashville haunt.

"I think just doing a record at home in Nashville, it's more the comfort level of sleeping at home in your own bed, hanging out with your friends. It's a little more chilled out. Coming to the city, New York, space is a lot smaller so there's not a lot of room to get distracted from making the record. New York is just get in there, get your job done, and get out."
