As we?ve already established, Gary Barlow is now 40 ? would you believe. But it?s okay because apparently he just keeps on getting fitter with age which means it can only get better from now!
A thought which probably put a massive smile on the singer?s face last night when he celebrated his big day by hosting a solo gig (in aid of charity) at the Shepherd?s Bush Empire.
The Take That star was joined by his bandmate Jason Orange during the gig, as well as Chris Martin and Ellie Goulding (all of whom sang with him) plus a host of other stars, his family, his friends and his fans. Unfortunately Elton John couldn?t make the event but in a statement he said:
"Sorry we can't be with you but me and David are in kiddy heaven."
We know what he meant, but that was a poor choice of words if ever we?ve heard them.
